Make Time to Prioritize Organisational Tasks
Do you truly understand how you manage your office time? Most people assume they spend more hours to strategic work than they actually do. Take a look at the past month in your calendar, add the time you spent on your priority tasks in office. Was it enough? Most likely it will be less than you thought. That is essentially because most people tend to do more of urgent tasks instead of the meaningful ones. You can change that; identify your top five priorities for the entire year, and each month ensure you spend enough time as planned on those priorities. Monitor the time spent each month, and if you fall short, it may be time to cancel a few meetings and build in time for the things that matter to you and your organisation.
