SPIPA has established a library with a collection of 37154 books on the subjects of Public Administration, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Books on Humanities, Computer science and other related subjects along with approximately 30,000 Government publications and text books.
All Gazzeted officers of Government of Gujarat can become member in the Library.

There is a separate news paper section. In addition, facilities have been kept for general reading . At the entrance of the library, an issue counter has been erected for issue and returning the books. The Library has accepted open access system for easy operation of library services.A Separate section of books & periodicals has been maintained for the use of the students of the Civil Service Examination Study Centre.
SPIPA library is a specialised library. It is working as a lending library for its participants, faculty members, staff members, Civil Service Examination Study Centre’s students and other senior officers who are the members of the library.
Institute has been publishing its in-house journal “NIRNAY” biannually & bimonthly Newsletter “GYANDEEP”. The publication and organizational job of this journal & newsletter is carried out by the library staff.
