Management Economics, Social Sciences and books on Humanities,
Computer science and other related subjects along with
approx 30,000 Government publications and text books.

Infrastructure:
There is a separate reading room for the
use of trainees & IAS study Centre &apos s students. There is a separate news
paper section. At the entrance of the library an issue counter has been
erected for issue and returning of books. Library has accepted open access
system for easy operating of library services. Separate section of books &
periodicals has been maintained for the use of the students of the IAS study centre.
Activities of Library:
1. SPIPA library is a special library. It is working as a lending library for its participants,
faculty members staff members IAS study centre’s students and other senior officers who are the members of the library.
2. Reprographic services are also provided by the library on demands by the readers
3. Inter loan library services
books and book volume of the journals are made available for the readers and faculty members.
4. List of the new arrivals
is also circulated among members of the library
5. Selection and procurements of books for strengthening of library
Publications :
1. Institute has been publishing its in house journal " NIRNAY "
biannually & bimonthly Newsletter " GYANDEEP " . The publication and organizational job of this
journal & newsletter is carried out by library staff
2. Subscription of NIRNAY: Rs100/- (Yearly)
Library LAN System :
Library has a Pentium P III 550 MHz computer with
one server and five clients
