| Regional Training Centre, Rajkot was inaugurated in 1964 to provide foundational and developmental training to bring desirable changes in attitude, behavior, skills and knowledge of the class-III and class-IV employees of Gujarat government. At that time Training centre was situated in collector office compound. |
|
| In February 1998 the Regional training centre was shifted from collector office to Jamnagar Road, out side of old Rajkot city. At present training centre is working in a very peaceful and noiseless environment, located at Jamnagar road, near Radio colony. Trainees can easily reached at training centre from bus station or Railway station. |

| Government officers as well as government employees of Saurashtra- Kachchha region are beneficiary of this institute. The following 8 districts of Saurashtra is beneficiary districts of Regional training centre, Rajkot. |

Establish Development programs |
| 3 days establishment development programs planed for class-Ill on various subject e.g. financial rules, service rules, etc. Also organize 2 days EDP training to class-4 for better performance. |

Tailor-Made program |
| Regional training centre, Rajkot conducts customized programs for all Government departments according to their requirement. |

| Pre-Service training |
|
| Regional training centre, Rajkot provides pre-service training for 60 calendar days. The newly recruited class-Ill employees of Gujarat government and Panchayat departments are beneficiaries of this training. This training is also provided to class-IV employees who are eligible for promotion of class-Ill. |

|
| CCC+ Training and Examination |
|
| Regional training centre, Rajkot conducts 12 working day's CCC+ training program for entitle government officers and employees. CCC+ examination is also held at the centre for trainees and for those who want to appear for the examination directly. |
