Regional Training Centre, Vadodara

Govt. of Gujarat has developed this automnous institution, catering to the need of employees serving in Central Gujarat.

Regional training centre Vadodara is located in a campus situated at Swetapark near ward No.2 office at Harni Varasia Ring road. It is situated on a plot measuring 3472 Sq. meters with administrative block, hostel with Canteen facilities, parking for staff & Visitors and a small well maintained garden with fountain and various types of ornamental flowers & well maintain lawn. The campus is provided with round the clock security.

At SPIPA RTC Vadodara Campus, facilities for hostel is available.Twenty four double bedroom with attached bathroom & Geyser facilities are available. Trainees are offered meals & snacks during their stay. Potable water is provided through Aqua guard & Cooler facilities. Separate wing for female candidates is available.

Latest version of 22 computers, round the year CCC + classes & Examination are the features of Computer Laboratory.

All the officers have been provided with computer & internet facilities.

For imparting training to Govt. employees, experts from the various fields are on faculty list of the institute. This includes professors of university, heads of various H.R. institutes, representive of quality circle forum & retired officers of state and central Govt.

It has been our endeavour to make the institute a source of inspiration to the Govt. employees.Through training at the institute Employees become sensitive to the need of people, positive in attitude & professional in handling their task. Upgradation of "Gyanshakti" for converting in to "karm Shakti" is the motto of the institute.

Staff is regularly doing Pranayam in the office during recess period All Possible economic measures have been taken so that best training is available at a low rate.

Course for Revenue Employees.

With induction of computerized record, e-Dhara, and subject related with General Service matters & Land Revenue related issues.

(D)

Course for Urban Management Development Programme.


With an idea of involving elected wing of local self bodies, a course was offered where future development schemes sponsored by State, Centre & World Bank were explained, New development Plans through interactions with the expert faculty was carried out.


Looking at the need of various Departments, courses are offered wherein on campus theoretic & Practical training is offered.

Foundation Course

Pre-Service training is offered to state and Panchayat employees who have to appear in Pre service training or who are aspiring to be promoted from class-IV to class-III.

Trainees are prepared to appear in post training examination after two months of training.

Executive Development Programmes

With an idea of augmenting knowledge and efficiency of Govt. employees two to three days programme for which the modules have been prepared by SPIPA is offered.

With globalization & fast changing society a need was felt to mould the training material. Induction of topics like parenting at work place, problem solving techniques and mind Management through improvement of physical & mental health was conducted.

Customized Courses

Right to Information Act 2005, has been offered to staff of VMSS, SSPA, RTO, GSECL, MGVCL & GETCO. The Act has been properly explained to the participants with the help of latest record Management techniques.

Depending upon the requirement of various departments, modules have been prepared, experts have been invited and trainees have been prepared for appearing in the departmental examinations.
