Govt. of Gujarat has developed this autonomous institution, catering to the need of employees serving in Central Gujarat.

Government of Gujarat has given administrative approval for construction of new building of Regional training centre(SPIPA), Vadodara with advance facilities, in the plot measuring 3472 Sq. meters owned by SPIPA, situated at Shwetapark, near ward No.2 office, Harni- Warashiya Ring road, Vadodara after the demolition of existing Administrative and Hostel buildings.

So at present Office of the Regional Training Centre (SPIPA), Vadodara is shifted at 2nd Floor, Hostel Building, DIET Campus,Opp. Anavil Bhavan, Aryakanya-Karelibaug Road, Vadodara-390018.

Latest version of 22 computers, round the year CCC + classes & Examination are the features of Computer Laboratory.

All the officers and staff have been provided with computer & internet facilities.

For imparting training to Govt. employees, experts from the various fields are on faculty list of the institute. This includes in service and retired officers of state and central government, professors of university, heads of various H.R. institutes, representatives of quality circle forum & other freelance corporate trainers.

It has been our endeavour to make the institute a source of inspiration to the government employees. Through training at the institute employees become sensitive to the needs of people, positive in attitude & professional in handling their task. Upgradation of "Gyanshakti" for converting in to "Karm Shakti" is the motto of the institute.

Here we take all possible economic measures so that the best training is available at a low cost.

Foundation Course

Pre-Service training of two months is offered to the clerks and clerk-cum-typists of non- secretariat and panchayat cadres and departmental training for Class-IV employees who are eligible to be promoted from class-IV to class-III.

Also, the Pre-Service training of 14 weeks is now offered to the directly recruited Nayab Mamlatdars of Revenue Cadre.

All Trainees are prepared to appear in post training examination.

With an idea of augmenting knowledge and efficiency of Government employees, one/two/three days training programs are offered.

Customized Courses

Considering the needs of various departments, courses are offered wherein on campus theoretic & practical training is offered. Depending upon the requirement of various departments, modules have been prepared, experts have been invited and trainees have been prepared for appearing in the departmental examinations.

Customised training programs covering administrative and generic subjects for Anganwadi Supervisors (ICDS), employees of Geology & Mining department, Revenue Department, Health Department have been successfully conducted.


In-house and off campus programs on Right to Information Act 2005 has been offered to staff of Revenue and Home department, staff of VMSS, SSPA, RTO, GSECL, MGVCL & GETCO etc. The Act has been properly explained to the participants with the help of latest record Management techniques.


Government of Gujarat has started Civil Service Examination Study Centre Through Video Conferencing since December, 2014 at the Regional Training Centre (SPIPA), Vadodara for imparting training to the youth of Gujarat who aspire to join civil services.


Government of Gujarat has started CGRS Centre since 2014 at the Regional Training Centre (SPIPA), Vadodara for imparting training to the youth of Gujarat who aspire to join Central Government Class 1-2 Service.
