Mid-Career Interaction

As per the scheme of Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India (DOPT), Mid Career Interaction between armed forces and civil services officers on "Cyber Security and Crime" at SPIPA. The said course will be held during 26-28 September, 2013 tentatively.

The objective of this interaction is to increase the exposure of the officers to meet unforeseen situations at short notice. Such interactions are likely to benefit the officers of the Civil Services and Armed Officers by mutual learning from each other's strengths and also by imbibing the best points of each other's work culture, ethos and customs. This, in the long run, is expected to help them to combat future challenges to national security in a better manner.

As per the scheme of DOPT for this course, Civil Services officers from states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, U.P., Orissa, Mizoram and UTs of Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli from the lAS, IPS and IFoS are to be nominated for this course. The Armed Forces officers would be nominated by the concerned authorities from Army, Navy and Air Force.
